Migrate F5 BIG-IP from on-premises to Azure, AWS, GCP and OCI

This is a production engagement, not the F5 classroom. We take a BIG-IP that already lives in your data centre and land it on the public cloud you name: Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

On-premises F5 BIG-IP moving to a public-cloud load balancer
Appliance or data-centre VE to BIG-IP VE, or to the native cloud load balancer when that is the honest fit.

What this F5 migration covers

Source is an on-premises F5 BIG-IP: a hardware appliance, or a VE that already runs in the data centre. Target is one public cloud. LTM is the core. DNS (GTM) and ASM are in scope only when those modules are in the configuration you give us.

We take across

  • Virtual servers, pools, pool members, monitors and persistence profiles
  • SNAT and automap intent, mapped to the cloud NIC and subnet design
  • SSL profiles and a certificate inventory — you import or re-issue the keys
  • iRules reviewed one by one, with a keep / rewrite / drop decision
  • Self-IP and VLAN intent mapped to cloud subnets, not copied as a VLAN number
  • A named VIP list to prove after cutover, plus rollback to the appliance

We do not pretend moved

  • The F5 licence. BYOL or marketplace licensing stays your contract with F5.
  • Hardware cryptographic acceleration and appliance-only features
  • Route domains or iRules that call a platform feature the cloud VE does not have
  • A silent 1:1 UCS restore. A restore that boots is not a restore that passes traffic.

Same engagement, four public clouds

F5 documents BIG-IP VE on Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and OCI. The version has to be one F5 still supports on that platform. We check that before the window, we do not guess a TMOS build.

Amazon Web ServicesBIG-IP VE on EC2 across the Availability Zones you already useALB or NLB covers the listener, and BIG-IP features are not on the requirements list

Oracle Cloud InfrastructureBIG-IP VE on OCI Compute. F5 documents VE on OCI.The OCI Load Balancer meets the listener and health-check need without a BIG-IP

How the window runs

  1. You send a UCS or a qkview-level configuration export, the target cloud account shape, and the VIP list that must pass.
  2. We return a written map: what lands on VE, what is rewritten, what is dropped, and whether a native load balancer is the better tool.
  3. Fee is confirmed on WhatsApp. GST extra. Nothing is paid before that message.
  4. Cutover stays inside the window you book. If the named VIPs do not pass, rollback is the appliance you still have.

Employment is not guaranteed. This is not a training enrolment. The F5 LTM course stays on its syllabus.

Questions people ask before they message

Can Techclick migrate F5 BIG-IP from on-premises to Azure, AWS, GCP and OCI?

Yes. The engagement covers a BIG-IP that is already on-premises — hardware or a data-centre VE — moving to Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or OCI. The fee is a scoped quote on WhatsApp. F5 licences are not included.

Do you always land on F5 BIG-IP VE in the cloud?

No. F5 publishes BIG-IP Virtual Edition for VMware, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and OCI, and VE is the usual target when you still need virtual servers, iRules, or ASM. If the application only needs a native load balancer, we write that choice down instead of selling a VE you do not need. Azure Load Balancer, Application Gateway, AWS ALB or NLB, Google Cloud Load Balancing, and the OCI Load Balancer are different products from BIG-IP.

What actually moves, and what does not?

We inventory virtual servers, pools, pool members, monitors, persistence, SNAT intent, and certificates. iRules are read line by line. We do not paste them onto a VE and hope. Appliance licences, hardware SSL offload, and platform features that have no cloud equivalent stay on a gap list before the window. Certificates are imported or re-issued by you.

Is this the ₹35,000 F5 course?

No. Classroom F5, including F5 Distributed Cloud training, is sold on the syllabus pages. This page is the migration desk. Hardware appliance to VMware VE is a separate engagement at ₹35,000. Cloud targets are quoted after we see the box and the window.
